We are setting up a new entertainment business venture initially comprising a hotel but going on to include a casino in the near future. As a Bombay Group Chief Accountant, you will be setting up accounting functions for the venture and acting as a business partner for the Operations and Commercial Directors.
What you'll be doing...
- Participating in the selection, customisation and implementation of hotel reporting software and casino back end software and designing the implementation of these into Coingaming's accounting software;
- Owning the capital and operational budget processes and updating them as the project evolves. Tracking expenditure against the budget and explaining variances. Analysing business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice;
- Providing adequate reporting and explanations to shareholders;
- Ensuring official financial reporting is carried out to relevant reporting authorities;
- Running necessary audit processes for companies within the entertainment group;
- Ensuring that appropriate contracts are in place with other Coingaming entities and are charged appropriately;
- Designing and hiring the accounting team necessary to support the Chief Accountant and setting up long-term accounting processes.
- Building a culture of financial responsibility within the business by designing and implementing necessary control processes around cash counting, cash control etc;
- Dealing with treasury management and control of cash flows within the business;
- Establishing tables of accounts and assigning entries to proper accounts.
It is you who we are looking for if you have…
- Excellent level of written and verbal English;
- A university degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics;
- At least 5 years of accounting experience;
- Casino and/or hospitality industry experience is beneficial.
